Using HeyUrdu

HeyUrdu is made by Sumdora to help you speak Urdu. By using it you agree to these terms. Please use it kindly and lawfully.

Free and Pro

The free plan includes one new lesson and one new chat a day, all accents and voices, and shows ads. HeyUrdu Pro has unlimited lessons and chats, the mistakes deck and no ads.

Subscriptions and free trials

Pro is a subscription through Apple or Google. A yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial; we remind you before it ends. After the trial it renews automatically until you cancel.

You can cancel at any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings, at least a day before it renews. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their rules.

Our content

Lessons, audio, pictures and Mithu belong to Sumdora. You can use them to learn, but please don’t copy or sell them.

We work hard to make the Urdu right and natural, with native speakers checking it, but language varies from family to family and we can’t promise every phrase suits every situation.

Changes

We may update HeyUrdu and these terms. If a change matters, we’ll tell you in the app.
